1:1 Care Assistant

We are recruiting compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to join a dedicated team supporting an individual in their own home in Bude. This is a one-to-one physical healthcare package supporting a person living with spinal cancer. The role involves delivering consistent, person-centred care that enables the individual to remain safe, comfortable and as independent as possible. What’s on Offer? * £13.55 per hour on weekdays * £13.70 per hour at weekends * Full-time and part-time hours available * Morning and evening shifts * Full training and ongoing support * Employee assistance programme * Generous referral scheme * Company events * A rewarding one-to-one role where you can make a genuine difference The Role Your responsibilities will include: * Providing personal care while maintaining dignity and privacy * Supporting with bowel management * Administering and supporting with medication * Assisting with mobility and repositioning * Monitoring physical wellbeing and reporting any concerns * Following the individual’s care plan and established routines * Maintaining clear and accurate care records * Delivering respectful, reassuring and person-centred support About You The ideal candidate will be: * Compassionate, patient and respectful * Comfortable providing personal and intimate care * Reliable and able to commit to regular shifts * Confident working on a one-to-one basis * Able to follow detailed care plans and clinical guidance * A strong communicator with good observation skills * Committed to protecting the individual’s privacy and dignity Previous experience in care or supporting someone with complex physical health needs is preferred.
