3.5 Tonne Delivery Driver Location: Livingston Salary: £29,744 per year Hours: 44 hours per week - 4-day working week, 6:30am start Pattern: 3-week rotating shift pattern - No Sundays Are you an experienced, reliable driver who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service? We're hiring a 3.5 Tonne Delivery Driver to join a busy distribution operation in Livingston. This is a permanent role offering a 4-day working week, no Sunday working and a 5-day rest period every three weeks. What You'll Be Doing: You'll be responsible for delivering furniture safely and professionally to customers' homes while providing an excellent customer experience. Key responsibilities include: Safely driving a 3.5 Tonne delivery vehicle and following planned delivery routes Loading, unloading and delivering furniture safely Working alongside a crew mate to complete daily deliveries Assisting with furniture delivery and installation in customers' homes Providing friendly and professional customer service Completing vehicle safety checks and delivery paperwork Reporting any vehicle, delivery or customer issues Following all Health & Safety and manual handling procedures Maintaining a clean and professional delivery vehicle Supporting warehouse and distribution duties when required Carrying out regular heavy lifting and manual handlingWhat You'll Get: Competitive salary of £29,744 Permanent, full-time position 44 hours per week 4-day working week No Sunday working 3-week rotating shift pattern 5-day rest period every 3 weeks Employee discount and benefits platform Career progression and development opportunities Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption leave Employee Assistance Programme 24/7 Virtual GP service Pension and life assurance benefitsWhat We're Looking For: Valid UK driving licence suitable for driving a 3.5 Tonne vehicle Previous delivery, driving or logistics experience Good communication and customer service skills Reliable, professional and positive attitude Comfortable working as part of a two-person delivery team Good time management and ability to follow delivery schedules Strong understanding of safe driving and manual handling Physically fit and comfortable with regular heavy lifting Ability to follow company processes and Health & Safety proceduresPrevious furniture delivery or warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
