Adecco are currently recruiting for 7.5 Sweeper Driver to work on assignment with our client based in Charnwood. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established Environmental Services team delivering essential waste and recycling services to local residents and businesses across the borough. Following a successful 12-week assignment, there is the opportunity to become a permanent employee with our client. Working alongside a dedicated team of Loaders, you'll help keep communities clean, safe and environmentally responsible while providing excellent customer service. The Role As a 7.5T Sweeper Driver, you will: Safely drive and operate specialist 7.5T street sweeping vehicles Clean designated roads, footways, public spaces, and highways Remove litter, leaves, debris, and other waste materials Carry out bulky waste collections in accordance with operational requirements Lead and complete daily routes efficiently and safely Conduct vehicle checks and accurately report defects or maintenance issues Complete all required compliance documentation, including working hours and fleet records Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety procedures Maintain relevant licences, qualifications, and training requirements What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you will: Full UK Driving Licence with C1 (7.5T) entitlement Hold a valid Driver CPC qualification. Previous experience driving 7.5T vehicles is desirable Be reliable, hardworking and safety conscious. Be physically fit due to the nature of the role. Have a positive attitude and excellent team-working skills. Be willing to support colleagues and go the extra mile to ensure routes are completed successfully.
