HGV 7.5 TONNE DRIVER – Bedford - Earn £15.63 - £19.54 per hour | Weekly Pay | Ongoing Work | Paid Training | Immediate Starts | 8–10 Hour Shifts People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Bedford . This role would suit candidates with experience as a HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver, Category C1 Driver, 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Delivery Driver, Home Delivery Driver or Commercial Driver . Shifts • Five days per week  • Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday  • Approximate 8–10 hour shifts Rates of Pay • £15.63 - £19.54 per hour  • Weekly Pay Benefits As an HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver , you will receive the following benefits: • Excellent Hourly Rates  • Weekly Pay  • Ongoing Work  • Paid Site Induction  • Comprehensive First-Day Assessment  • Two Weeks' Training Alongside Experienced Drivers  • Immediate Starts Available Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver , your duties will include but not be limited to: • Driving Category C1 vehicles safely and efficiently  • Completing between 12 and 25 deliveries per day to commercial properties  • Taking photographs to confirm successful deliveries  • Carrying out daily vehicle safety inspections and reporting any defects  • Completing delivery paperwork accurately and on time  • Providing excellent customer service at every delivery location  • Reporting customer queries or issues promptly to your line manager  • Following all road transport legislation and company procedures Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver , you will need: • A minimum of 24 months' experience driving Category C1 vehicles  • A valid UK Category C1 Driving Licence  • A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card  • A valid Digital Tachograph Card  • No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no DR10, DG10, IN10 or TT99 endorsements)  • No major endorsement codes  • Excellent customer service and communication skills  • A reliable, professional, and punctual attitude Desirable Experience • Previous commercial delivery driving experience  • Previous multi-drop delivery experience  • Experience delivering to commercial premises Training Provided • Paid site induction  • Comprehensive first-day assessment  • Two weeks' training alongside experienced drivers  • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply If you're looking for a long-term driving opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, weekly pay, ongoing work, and comprehensive paid training, apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.
