Accountant Benfleet | £40,000£50,000 DOE | Full-time | Office-based A fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to join a busy, supportive practice. This role is ideal for someone confident handling year-end work and a wide range of accounting tasks. The Role: You will take ownership of key accounting duties and support a varied client portfolio. Key responsibilities include: Year-end accounts preparation, including Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Tax computations P11D's Payroll processing CIS returns Working across multiple accounting software packages: Xero, QuickBooks, Sage Supporting clients and resolving queries in a timely manner About You: You'll bring strong technical accounting knowledge and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. You must have: Comprehensive accounting background Experience preparing year-end accounts Payroll and CIS knowledge Proficiency with Xero, QuickBooks and Sage Previous experience of working within an accountancy practice You will be: QBE or Fully Qualified A strong communicator with excellent attention to detail Preferably a car driver due to the office-based nature of the role What's on Offer: Supportive, friendly team environment Fully office-based role in Benfleet Ready to take the next step in your accounting career?
