Accountant

Robert Half are pleased to be partnering with an established organisation based in Thame to recruit an Accountant. The Accountant will receive a salary of up to £50,000 (potentially negotiable) along with other attractive benefits including hybrid remote working!

Primary responsibilities;

• Manage and coordinate month end balance sheet reporting for Direct and Indirect channel including intercompany and cash balances reconciliation within agreed deadlines.
• Monthly Indirect Channel income statement actual and forecasts submissions to group within agreed deadlines, with supporting analysis and commentary required for monthly reviews with group function.
• Business Partnering with the Indirect Channel to support business strategy and growth.
• Budget preparation and submission for Indirect Channel.
• Fixed assets management ensuring compliance with group and local accounting standards: accurate and timely assets capitalisation, monthly depreciation, and disposal reporting, as well as budget submission, and monitoring of actuals vs budget.
• Stock records management ensuring correct cost of sales and inventory reporting.
• Monthly prepayments/accruals reconciliation and recognition in income statements.
• Bank reconciliation for all business accounts.
