Senior Accounts Payable Administrator

Location: Letchworth Garden City - hybrid working after initial training

Salary: £27,000 – 28,500 + a performance related bonus

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Administrator to join a busy and growing finance team.

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you’ll play an important role in ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time, while helping to resolve invoice discrepancies and improve the efficiency of the wider Accounts Payable function.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong Accounts Payable experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants exposure to process improvement, acquisitions and finance integration projects.

What You'll Be Doing

• Processing a high volume of electronic and manual supplier invoices.
• Managing invoice matching and resolving discrepancies, particularly around stock invoices.
• Working closely with internal departments, cost centres and suppliers to resolve queries.
• Proactively managing supplier queries and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Completing monthly supplier statement reconciliations.
• Ensuring appropriate authorisation and controls are completed before invoices are paid.
