Acoustic Consultant (Remote) - Noise & Acoustics Division Overview We're looking for an experienced Acoustic Consultant to join our team in a fully remote role, ideally based between Manchester and Birmingham. With a salary of up to £45,000, this is a great opportunity to take a lead role in developing our growing Noise & Acoustics division, aligned closely with our wider sustainability offering. You'll be working with Tier 1 contractors on an increasing pipeline of projects, including BREEAM assessments and sound insulation testing, with real scope to bring work in-house and shape the service line. What you'll be doing Leading and delivering acoustic projects, including BREEAM credits and sound insulation testing Working closely with Tier 1 contractors, developers and design teams to provide practical acoustic solutions Supporting the growth of the Noise & Acoustics division, helping expand services and workload Producing and reviewing technical outputs such as noise impact assessments, noise modelling, and noise at work assessments Ensuring compliance with relevant guidance and standards, including Building Regulations Part E Contributing to sustainable design outcomes by integrating acoustics into environmentally responsible projects What we're looking for Consultancy experience in acoustics, including BREEAM work and sound insulation testing Strong knowledge of noise assessment, modelling and reporting Understanding of Part E and relevant UK standards/guidance Confident communicator with strong project management skills Able to work independently while collaborating with a wider remote team Degree in Acoustics, Environmental Science or similar (preferred) What you'll get Salary up to £45,000 Remote working flexibility and strong work-life balance A key role in shaping and growing a new division High-profile project work with major contractors and developers Supportive, forward-thinking team focused on sustainability and innovation Ongoing professional development and progression opportunities Interested?
