Location: Norwich Combined Court - Fully Office-Based
Salary: £12.86 per hour
Working Hours: Full Time - Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (37 hours per week)
Contract Type: Temporary (with strong likelihood of extension)
If you're looking for a rewarding opportunity to work within the Public Sector , we are recruiting on behalf of our client at HMCTS Norwich Combined Court for a Full-Time Admin Officer .
This is a key position supporting the day-to-day running of the court. You'll be part of a fast-paced team helping ensure proceedings are well-organised and run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Progress cases through the court/tribunal system
Support various court functions by following established guidelines
Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally
Manage and respond to email correspondence
Create, update, and maintain records and case files
Input accurate data into internal systems
Prepare and organise paperwork for hearings and meetings
General administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and managing documents
Book and prepare meeting rooms
Respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders
Remain professional, calm, and proactive in a busy office environment
Requirements:
Previous experience in an administrative role
Confident using Microsoft Office and managing shared inboxes
Strong communication and customer service skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage a high workload and prioritise tasks
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Strong organisational and time-management skills
