Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for skilled and motivated Healthcare Assistant/Administrator to join our team at Northampton General Hospital 

 

You should ideally have experience in a Healthcare environment as you will be required to meet and greet patients.

Main duties of the job

A key element of the role is to make telephone bookings for patients attending our services. To be successful in this role you must have good communication skills both written and verbal, together with good IT and administration skills. A flexible, organized and enthusiastic attitude is essential.

Required Skills and Experience

As a successful applicant you must be able to demonstrate:

  • experience using Microsoft office

  • skills of organising filing systems and computer files

  • good customer service skills

  • excellent communication skills, as you will be both patient facing and using the telephone.

  • IT literacy

  • excellent organisational skills

  • the ability to work well under pressure

  • the ability to multi task
