SW Locums is recruiting an experienced Adult Social Worker with a strong background in Mental Health and/or Learning Disabilities to join Surrey County Council. The Opportunity * £38.69 per hour (Umbrella) * Full-time locum role * Monday to Friday * ASAP start * Surrey County Council Key Responsibilities * Manage a caseload of adults with Mental Health and Learning Disability needs. * Complete Care Act assessments, reviews and person-centred support plans. * Undertake Mental Capacity Assessments and contribute to safeguarding enquiries where required. * Work collaboratively with health professionals, community teams and partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes for individuals. * Support adults to maximise their independence while promoting choice, dignity and wellbeing. * Maintain accurate case records and ensure all work complies with relevant legislation and statutory guidance. What We're Looking For * Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration. * Strong Adult Social Work experience. * Proven experience working within Mental Health and/or Learning Disability services. * Excellent knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Adult Safeguarding. * Confident managing complex cases and working within a multidisciplinary environment.
