Advanced Pharmacy Technician/Data Analyst
Job summary
This is an advanced pharmacy technician role within the Medicines Optimisation team of NHS Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR) and NHS Northamptonshire Integrated Care Boards. The role provide analytical input into population health workstreams or medicine value and prescribing quality.
The post holder will need to build and maintain constructive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to:
- Internal ICB staff including managers, colleagues, and senior management as appropriate
- System partners, including portfolio leads, Local Authorities and Provider and Place Collaboratives
- Non-NHS organisations
- Members of the public and service users as appropriate
- Matrix work across all other teams to address interdependencies and ensure alignment of mutual objectives
- External consultancy, as required
Main duties of the job
Support delivery of the NHS Strategic Commissioning Framework and LNR Operating Model.
Data management and extraction
Access, extract and prepare prescribing, outcomes and population health datasets.
Clean,validateand transform data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Maintain data quality in line with ICS information governance standards.
Analytical insight and reporting
Analyse trends,variationand inequalities within medicines use and population health data.
Produce clear visualisations,dashboardsand written summaries for clinical and managerial audiences.
Support evaluation of medicines optimisation and population health interventions.
Continuous improvement and innovation
Help refine analytical methods,toolsand reporting processes.
Contribute to the development of population health dashboards and digital solutions.
Stay up to date with analytical techniques, population health intelligence tools and NHS data developments.

There is an expectation of 40% office attendance, with office bases at County Hall,Glenfield, Leicester and Haylock House, Kettering. Staff can choose which office is their primary base for contractual purposes and travel claims.
There is an expectation in this role that you will be able to attend either site, and occasionally attend in person at other healthcare sites across thecluster, including occasional weekends and evening.
