Afterschool Club Deputy Supervisor

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Afterschool Club Deputy Supervisor to support the day-to-day running of our thriving afterschool club. Grade 3, SCP 5, £25,583 FTE (actual salary: £8,672/annum)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 3pm to 6pm, term time only, 15 hours per week.
This is a fantastic opportunity to help lead a fun, safe and engaging afterschool provision where children can learn, play and thrive. Working alongside the Club Supervisor and other Deputy Supervisor, you will support the day-to-day running of the club, lead activities, supervise staff and ensure the highest standards of care and safeguarding.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised, reliable and committed to creating positive experiences for children.
The successful applicant should have:
- excellent communication skills with young children and adults
- the ability to work independently but also as part of a team
- the ability to lead and guide other staff members in team

Applicants must be 17 or over. Applicants must be at least 17 years old. This is because, under the Ofsted‑regulated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements, staff must be at least 17 to be counted in statutory staff‑to‑child ratios. This ensures we can meet our legal duties for safeguarding, supervision, and the quality of care provided.
