RJS Resourcing is recruiting Community Carers to join a well-established care provider on a long-term agency basis. Whether you want regular weekly hours, selected shifts or additional work alongside your existing commitments, we would love to discuss your availability.
You will support people within their own homes, helping them remain safe, independent and connected to their local community.
Pay and Benefits
£14.00 per hour on weekdays
£17.00 per hour at weekends
Enhanced Bank Holiday rates
Weekly pay
Holiday pay accrued in addition to your hourly rate
Mileage paid
Travel time paid, including travel from home to the start of your shift
Company-paid DBS
Refresher training provided

Flexible Working Options
We have a variety of shifts available throughout Cornwall, including:
Morning shifts: 6:30/7:00am2:00pm
Evening shifts: 4:00pm10:00pm
Some 12-hour shifts
Weekday and weekend availability
Regular hours available on a long-term agency basis

Your Role
Working as part of a Rapid Response Team, you will provide compassionate and reliable care to individuals in their own homes.
Your responsibilities may include:
Providing personal care with dignity and respect
Supporting with medication and preparing meals
Assisting with light household tasks
Accompanying people to appointments or community activities
Promoting independence, choice and wellbeing
Building positive relationships with individuals and their families
Responding flexibly when a persons care needs change
About You
A caring, patient and compassionate approach
Good communication skills
The confidence to work independently
Reliability and a flexible attitude
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
The right to work in the UK
Up-to-date mandatory training is desirable, but refresher training can be provided.
