We are looking for an Agricultural Sales Support Coordinator to join our busy team in Forfar. The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.
This is primarily an office-based administration and coordination role supporting our sales team. The role involves arranging machine transport, updating systems, handling customer queries, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the smooth movement of machinery through the business. The role is approximately 80% office-based administration and system coordination, with around 20% spent in the yard or meeting customers as required.
This is not a target-driven sales role. This opportunity would suit someone who understands the industry, enjoys working with customers, and is looking to develop a long-term career with one of Scotland's leading agricultural machinery businesses.
Hours: Monday Friday, 8.00am - 4.30pm, in our Forfar office

Operating across 14 strategically located depots, we provide machinery sales, servicing, and parts for leading brands including JCB, Massey Ferguson, Horsch, Spearhead, Berthoud, and more.
This role involves:
Customer Support & Sales Administration
Responding to customer enquiries and directing opportunities to the appropriate member of the sales team
Building andmaintainingstrong relationships with customers and manufacturer sales representatives
Responding quickly and professionally to inbound customer enquiries from the Scot Agri website, digital campaigns, and marketing activity
Proactively making outbound calls to progress opportunities and follow up on open enquiries
Identifyingopportunities for equipment demonstrations or dealer visits
Supporting the sales team by arranging appointments, preparing information, and ensuring enquiries are recorded accurately
Maintaining consistent follow-up with customers to avoid missed opportunities
Providing a professional and helpful point of contact for customers and colleagues
Providing customer account statements
Supporting the sales team with machine build ups for non JCB products i.e. Horsch, Massey Fergusson, KRM and more
CRM Management
Accurately recording all activity, notes, and next actions within the dealer CRMsystem
Maintaining the Scot Agri used equipment website
Carrying out used machine reportsand chasing sales team for O/S reports
Operations & Coordination
Organisingmachinery transport movementsand updating our IFS (ERP) system
Processing export paperwork - CMR and sanitation documentation document
Liaising with the parts and service departmentsregardingmachines ready for delivery
Liaising with the sales administration teamregardingmachine movements
Supporting the wider sales team with building machine specifications and researching attachments
Planning and organising events e.g. agricultural shows
Yard & Equipment Responsibilities
Moving and handling machines in the yard
Carrying out machinefamiliarisationtraining with customers
Learning how to valuate part exchanges
The ideal candidate will have:
Personal or work-related experience in agriculture, xkybehq farming, agricultural machinery, agricultural service, parts, or a related agricultural environment
Experience in administration, customer support, transport coordination, agricultural parts, service, or another busy office-based role would be helpful
The ability to prioritise tasks and work well in a busy team
The ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
A good understanding of the importance of excellent customer service
Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications
Strong attention to detail
The ability to work on your own initiative
Flexible, positive, and outgoing approach to work
