Senior Air Conditioning Engineer Leatherhead £44k-£51k Job description My client are a family-run HVAC business looking for a skilled Senior Air Conditioning Engineer to join their growing team in order to build a team in Surrey. You'll primarily focus on residential and light commercial installations, with the opportunity — based on your experience and interest — to work on larger commercial HVAC projects. What you'll be doing * Installing, servicing, and repairing air conditioning systems to manufacturer specifications and safety standards. * Leading Split installations, with scope to contribute to larger commercial HVAC projects * Diagnosing and troubleshooting faults using schematics, technical drawings, and manuals * Carrying out routine maintenance to keep systems running efficiently and reliably * Keeping accurate records of work carried out, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades * Ensuring all work meets health & safety regulations and industry standards What we're looking for * Proven experience installing and maintaining air conditioning systems, especially Single-Split, Multi-Split and Sky Air systems, experience in VRV will be considered as advantage. * Solid mechanical knowledge of HVAC equipment, and understanding the technical aspects from installations to maintenance. * Comfortable reading schematics, technical drawings, and diagnostic tools * Working knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to HVAC work * A proactive, problem-solving mindset and strong customer service skills * Experience in construction or industrial repair environments is a plus, but not essential Required licences/certifications * Full UK driving licence * F-Gas certification What we offer * Company van and fuel covered * 20 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays * 3% employer pension contribution * Fully funded certifications and manufacturer-led training courses, with real opportunities to progress and upskill * A friendly, family-business culture — not just a number on a spreadsheet Work Location: around Surrey / South of London Pay: £44,000.00-£51,000.00 per year Experience: * engineering: 5 years (required) Licence/Certification: * F-gas (required) * Driving Licence (required) Work Location: In person If this sounds like you please send George your cv in the first instance
