Air Conditioning Installation Engineer - Mobile Location: Hampshire - covering the South Coast & London Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Working Hours: Field-Based Company Vehicle: Provided About the Role We are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join a growing team. This is a fully mobile, field-based position covering installation projects across the South Coast and London. The role would suit an experienced engineer who is confident working independently, takes pride in their work and can manage installations from start to finish. You will have the freedom to plan your own workload, organise materials and deal directly with clients on site. A company van, fuel arrangement, mobile phone and tablet/laptop will be provided. Key Responsibilities Install split, multi-split and VRF/VRV air conditioning systems Carry out installations across commercial and residential sites Plan and manage your own daily workload and travel Complete pre-installation site surveys where required Source and order materials and equipment for installations Install systems in line with manufacturer specifications and current industry standards Test, commission and hand over completed systems to clients Complete job sheets, certification and relevant documentation Liaise with clients, site contacts and the office team Identify additional works and report any issues found on site Maintain company vehicle, tools and equipment Work safely and in accordance with F-Gas, health & safety and company procedures Travel across the South Coast and London, with occasional overnight stays when required Requirements Proven experience installing air conditioning systems NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent F-Gas Category 1 - essential Full UK driving licence Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage your own workload Good organisational and time-management skills Confident dealing directly with customers and clients Comfortable using tablets, laptops and mobile applications Willingness to travel across the South Coast and London Desirable Experience with VRF/VRV systems Experience with Daikin, Mitsubishi or Toshiba equipment 18th Edition electrical qualification Valid CSCS card Benefits Company van Fuel/expenses arrangement Mobile phone and tablet/laptop provided Specialist tools provided Paid travel over 1 hour Enhanced overtime rates Ongoing training and manufacturer certifications Pension Autonomy to manage your own diary and workload Competitive salary based on experience If you are an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer looking for a mobile role offering independence, variety and ongoing development, we would be interested in hearing from you
