Full job description

We are looking for an experienced Air Exports Operator to join our operations team on a 4 on, 4 off late shift . This role is ideal for someone with a background in air freight forwarding who can confidently manage export shipments from start to finish while ensuring a high level of customer service and operational accuracy.

You will be responsible for coordinating export shipments, preparing documentation, completing customs declarations, and liaising with airlines, customers, and overseas partners to ensure freight moves efficiently and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage air export shipments from booking through to departure.
• Arrange collections and coordinate transport with suppliers and hauliers.
• Book cargo with airlines and monitor flight schedules.
• Prepare and process export documentation, including MAWBs, HAWBs, consolidation and direct shipments.
• Complete accurate UK export customs declarations in line with HMRC regulations.
• Ensure all customer SOPs are followed and service levels are maintained.
• Provide customers with regular shipment updates from collection through to final destination.
