The Opportunity

This is not a back-office role at a large corporation. This is a hands-on, high-impact position where you will be at the heart of our air freight operations — coordinating international shipments, building relationships with airlines and handling agents, and ensuring our clients receive a seamless, world-class service.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and maintain air freight quotations and manage rate negotiations with carriers
• Coordinate day-to-day air operations with airlines, handling agents, and customs brokers
• Proactively monitor shipments and keep clients informed at every stage
• Issue accurate and compliant air cargo documentation (AWB, customs declarations, certificates of origin)
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and elevate the client experience
• Support the growth of the air freight desk as the operation scales

What We're Looking For

• Experience in air freight operations or a similar role within freight forwarding
• Strong knowledge of air cargo documentation and international shipping regulations xwzovoh
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple shipments simultaneously
• A team player with a client-first mindset
• Based in or within commuting distance of Birmingham
