Nexgen Locum are currently recruiting experienced Paramedics and Ambulance Care Assistants to support our clients across Sussex.
The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.
We are looking for reliable, compassionate and experienced healthcare professionals who are confident supporting patients during non-emergency and patient transport journeys.
Key Responsibilities: Safely transporting patients to and from hospitals, appointments and other healthcare settings Providing appropriate care and reassurance throughout the journey Supporting patients with mobility and personal care where required Completing relevant documentation and patient handovers Working professionally alongside other healthcare professionals Ensuring patient safety and dignity is maintained at all times Following all relevant clinical, safeguarding and health & safety procedures We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in: Patient Transport Services Ambulance Services Healthcare Hospital or care environments Non-emergency patient transport Requirements: Relevant experience as xwzovoh a Paramedic or Ambulance Care Assistant Appropriate qualifications for the role Good communication and interpersonal skills A caring and professional approach Ability to work independently and as part of a team Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one Right to work in the UK Full UK driving licence is desirable
