Reed Education is seeking a dynamic Art Teacher to join a secondary school in Blackpool starting in September. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator who has a strong knowledge of the curriculum and a passion for creating an engaging learning environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and creative Art lessons to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; experience with KS5 is advantageous.
- Utilise strong subject knowledge to inspire and motivate students.
- Maintain effective classroom management skills.
- Assess, monitor, and record the progress of students.
- Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending in-service training.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and promotes interest in the arts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Recent relevant experience teaching Art at KS3 and KS4 levels; KS5 experience is beneficial.
- Excellent classroom practitioner with robust classroom management skills.
