Job Description SEND Learning Support Assistant (1:1) Make sure to read the full description below, and please apply immediately if you are confident you meet all the requirements. - Paulton£90-£100 per day | Full-time | Start ASAP or SeptemberWe are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) in a welcoming school setting in Paulton.The RoleProvide tailored 1:1 support for a pupil with ASCSupport learning, emotional regulation, and social developmentWork closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support strategiesCreate a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environmentThe Ideal CandidateExperience supporting children with SEND/ASC is desirable, but not essentialCandidates with transferable skills (e.g. care work, youth work, coaching, or personal experience supporting individuals with additional needs) are strongly encouraged to applyPatient, empathetic, and adaptable in approachStrong communication and teamwork skillsFull UK driving licence required due to limited public transport accessWhat We OfferCompetitive daily rate of £90-£100Supportive school environment with ongoing guidanceOpportunity to make a meaningful impact in a child's educationFlexible start date: Immediate or September start availableIf you are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and want to make a real difference, we would love to hear from you.Essential Criteria:- Able to work 5 days a week (term time only), Monday-Friday 8:30-15:30- Right to work in the UK - we CANNOT accept sponsorship or a skilled worker visa- Minimum two recent references, covering the last two years- Up-to-date DBS/police check, or be willing to obtain one **Please note, if you do not have a Non-Voluntary Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, we will need to help you process a new one at a cost of £62.70.
