Assembly Operative – Production Role Gap Personnel are recruiting 10* Assembly Operatives in Newmarket, making attractive cosmetic/perfume retail display units for stores and packaging, it is generally a light assembly and not heavy work but includes use oif hand tools and basic assembly. The client has a fast paced manufacturing team, a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on, detail-focused work in a supportive and welcoming environment with a super friendly team, Hours Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm Early finish every Friday! Contract Type Temporary ongoing work Permanent opportunities available for the right candidate Location Newmarket, CB8 Pay £12.71ph, Overtime over 40 hours £19.07ph Duties Include Building cosmetic display stands and presentation units Creating neat, aesthetically pleasing product displays Light assembly work following simple instructions Packing finished products carefully and accurately Quality checking items to ensure high standards Working as part of a supportive and upbeat team Keeping your workstation tidy and organised Skills & Experience Positive attitude and willingness to learn Good attention to detail and pride in your work Enjoys working in a team environment Reliable and punctual Comfortable working in a busy but friendly workplace This is a lovely opportunity to join a welcoming team where you can learn new skills, stay active, and be part of creating products that look great in stores.
