Assembly Operative

As an Assembly Operative, you’ll work within a busy manufacturing environment where the standard of your work directly contributes to the quality of products leaving the site.  You’ll be involved in hands-on production work including assembling components, preparing materials, trimming leather and fabrics and checking your own work against the required specifications.What’s in it for you

• Starting pay of £12.80 per hour
• Potential pay increases up to £14.00 per hour
• Weekly pay
• Early finish every Friday at 1:30pm
• Consistent Monday to Friday working pattern
• Varied hands-on work across preparation, production and quality checking

Your responsibilities as Assembly Operative

• Assemble and trim seats accurately to drawing specifications
• Use manual and electric tools safely to complete production tasks
• Check completed work to ensure required quality standards are achieved
• Prepare materials ready for the production process
• Trim leather and fabric components accurately
• Identify quality issues before products progress through production

What we’re looking for in a Assembly Operative

• Previous assembly, manufacturing or production experience
