Assembly Operative

Job Description: We are hiring – Assemblers Our client, a well-established and respected manufacturer within the commercial vehicle industry, is looking to recruit reliable and motivated Assemblers to join their growing production team. Days & Night shifts Available! Days - Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 5pm Fridays 7.30am - 12pm OR Nights - Monday - Thursday 6am - 6pm The Role As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling trailer and vehicle body components to a high standard, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with quality specifications. Key Responsibilities * Assemble vehicle and trailer components using hand and power tools. * Read and follow engineering drawings and assembly instructions. * Carry out quality inspections throughout the assembly process. * Meet daily production targets while maintaining excellent quality standards. * Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety procedures. * Maintain a clean and organised work area. * Work effectively as part of a busy production team. What We Are Looking For * Previous experience within assembly, manufacturing, production, or a similar environment. * Experience using hand and power tools. * Good attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work. * Ability to work from engineering drawings is advantageous but not essential. * Strong work ethic with a positive attitude. * Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
