Location: Banbury
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Hours: 39 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts (2-week rotation)
Week 1 & 2: Monday Thursday, 6:30am 4:15pm
Week 3 & 4: Monday Thursday, 4:15pm 2:00am
Pay Rate:
£15.85 per hour
£17.72 per hour for hours worked after 9:00pm
The Role We are recruiting for Assembly Operatives to join a leading automotive manufacturer based in Banbury. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a temporary-to-permanent position within a fast-paced production environment.
The successful candidates will be responsible for assembling high-quality automotive components while working to strict production schedules and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities Assembly of automotive parts and components
Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Following engineering drawings, work instructions, and production specifications
Conducting quality checks throughout the assembly process
Meeting production targets and tight deadlines
Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
Supporting team objectives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Requirements Previous experience within the automotive industry or a manufacturing/production environment is essential
Experience using hand tools is required
Experience using power tools is desirable
Ability to work accurately and xwzovoh efficiently under pressure
Comfortable working to tight deadlines and production targets
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team
Flexibility to work rotating shifts
