Assistant Accountant

Robert Half is partnering with a well established organisation in the Brecon area to recruit an Assistant Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive finance team where you'll gain broad exposure. The Role You'll play a key role in supporting the finance function and ensuring accurate financial reporting across the business. Key responsibilities will include: Assisting with the preparation of monthly accounts Balance sheet reconciliations Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities Accruals and prepayments Cashflow reporting and monitoring Assisting with year-end audit requirements VAT returns and statutory reporting support Supporting process improvement initiatives About You We're looking for a proactive individual who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is keen to continue developing their finance career. You will ideally have: AAT qualification or be studying towards ACCA, CIMA or ACA Previous experience in a similar Assistant Accountant role Strong Excel skills Excellent attention to detail Good communication and stakeholder management skills A proactive approach and willingness to learn The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines What's On Offer?
