This is an opportunity for an experiencedtrade counter, branch or technical sales professional who is ready to take the next step in their career.
Working closely with the Branch Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running and performance of the branch, combining customer service, sales, operations and team leadership.
The Role You'll be responsible for: Building strong relationships with professional and commercial customers Providing advice across the company's range of tools, equipment and machinery Supporting branch sales, KPIs and customer development Assisting with stock control, goods-in, branch standards and daily operations Supporting, developing and leading the branch team Helping maintain high standards of customer service, health & safety and presentation Taking responsibility for the branch when required This is a hands-on leadership role.
You'll remain involved with customers and the trade counter while taking on increasing responsibility for the wider branch operation.
About You We're looking for someone with experience in atrade-facing or branch environment, ideally within tools, equipment, machinery, engineering supplies, industrial products, builders' merchants, tool hire or a similar sector.
You'll ideally have: Strong experience dealing with trade or professional customers Good product knowledge within tools, equipment or a related environment A commercial and sales-focused approach Experience working towards targets or KPIs The confidence to lead, support and develop colleagues A proactive and hands-on approach Previous experience as a Supervisor, Senior Trade Counter Salesperson, Assistant Manager or similar would be advantageous.
