- Support physical and virtual server infrastructureAdminister operating systems and backup environmentsHelp maintain both on-premise and cloud-hosted servicesMonitor, troubleshoot and optimise critical systemsContribute to infrastructure improvements and future technology projects
- Support enterprise security systems and technologiesAssist in managing firewalls and security applicationsHelp protect Council systems against cyber threatsMonitor security alerts and investigate potential incidentsContribute to maintaining a secure digital environment across the organisation
- Provide technical support to colleagues across Council sitesHelp deliver reliable IT services and excellent customer supportAssist with system configuration, implementation and documentationWork with experienced analysts on exciting digital projectsDevelop your technical knowledge across a wide range of technologiesContribute ideas that improve services and enhance user experience
- Five GCSEs (Grades A-C), including English (or equivalent)
- Successfully completed an ICT training and development programme designed to prepare candidates for a career in Information Technology
- At least one year's relevant experience in Information Systems or Information Technology.
