Assistant Estimator Coventry About the Role Our client is a rapidly growing construction contractor operating across multiple sectors including commercial, industrial, logistics, fit-out, refurbishment, life sciences and specialist construction projects. They are looking to appoint an Assistant Estimator to support their pre-construction team from their Coventry office. This position would suit a motivated individual looking to build a long-term career within estimating and pre-construction, working alongside experienced industry professionals on a diverse portfolio of projects. Key Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of tenders and cost plans. Review drawings, specifications and project documentation. Obtain and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations. Support bid submissions and tender presentations. Maintain estimating databases and records. Assist with value engineering exercises. Liaise with operational, commercial and design teams. Requirements Previous estimating experience or relevant construction qualification. Strong numerical and analytical skills. Excellent attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office packages. Strong communication and organisational skills. Desire to develop a long-term career in estimating. Package Competitive salary.
