In this role, you will assist the Facilities Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of all maintenance and facilities across the resort, including energy management and compliance:
Support the Facilities Manager in leading the Facilities Team in daily maintenance activities, service standards, and scheduling
Coordinate with Housekeeping to schedule maintenance for accommodation, public areas, grounds, and staff facilities
Develop systems to guarantee the safety and wellbeing of Guests and Team Members, along with compliance with health and safety regulations
Assist in planning preventative maintenance programs and oversee contractor performance
Maintain all resort fixtures and fittings, ensuring safety and addressing any unsafe conditions promptly
Coordinate refurbishment projects, including scope, costs, and overseeing contractors to ensure quality and value
Monitor KPIs for the Facilities Department, taking action to improve performance
Keep asset registers, servicing records, and activity logs up to date
Ensure compliance with company policies, property regulations, and legal obligations
Work closely with leadership to ensure clear communication and efficient maintenance support
Prioritise reactive works and ensure timely completion
Lead and develop the Facilities Team, supporting their ongoing training and performanceWhat we're looking for:
You'll bring a hands-on approach and leadership skills, with experience in facilities, maintenance, or hospitality environments:
Proven experience in facilities management or maintenance roles within a hospitality background
Knowledge of health, safety, and compliance regulations
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to lead and develop a team effectively
