We're recruiting for an established supply chain/technical team looking for an Assistant Garment Technologist to join their busy Technical department in West London.
This is a great opportunity for someone with solid hands-on experience in garment measuring, fit and quality control who's ready to build their career within a supportive technical team, working across ladies' and menswear ranges.
What you'll be doing:
- Measuring and preparing samples for fit meetings and development reviews
- Supporting the sealing process, from red seal through to pre-shipment approval
- Writing clear, accurate sealing comments and maintaining tech packs
- Tracking samples and keeping production reports up to date
- Carrying out QC inspections and helping resolve quality issues with cross-functional teams
- Liaising with pattern cutters, factories and suppliers on day-to-day technical queries
- Supporting the wider technical and supply chain team as needed
What we're looking for:
- Some recent experience in a assistant garment technologist or Junior garment technologist role
- A good understanding of garment construction, fit and quality control
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- A proactive, can-do attitude and confident communicator
- Comfortable working collaboratively across teams
- Willingness to travel to factories/warehouse as required
- Commutable to West London and Eligible to work in the UK
