Our client, a leading accountancy firm in Central London would like to recruit a Mixed Tax Assistant Manager.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take ownership of a varied client portfolio, deliver high-quality advisory work, and support colleagues within a supportive forward-thinking environment.
Working closely with leadership at the firm, you will handle a blend of personal and corporate tax matters, predominantly focusing on owner-managed businesses, SMEs and high-net-worth individuals.
Responsibilities will include:
Portfolio Management: acting as primary point of contact for a portfolio of mixed tax clients, ensuring compliance and offering proactive tax planning
Compliance: prepare / review personal tax returns, corporation tax returns, P11Ds and ATED returns
Technical Research: conduct in-depth research on technical issues, prepare tax advice reports and handle HMRC enquiries
Client Development: identify opportunities to enhance tax service delivery and offer additional services to clients
Advisory Projects: assist Partners with ad-hoc tax advisory projects, including corporate restructuring, profit extraction, IHT planning, property transactions and SEIS/EIS

To be considered for this position, you must:
Have a minimum of 5 years experience at a UK accountancy firm
Ideally be CTA (Chartered Tax Adviser) qualified; ATT / ACA / ACCA qualified candidates with strong experience will also be considered
Have personal tax (private client) experience and ideally have had exposure to corporate tax
Have strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation
Live within a commutable distance of London
