This position is perfect for a confident retail leader who enjoys working in a luxury environment and is dedicated to creating an outstanding, customer-centric shopping experience. What you'll be doing as Assistant Manager: Work closely with the Store Manager to support the overall performance of the store, stepping into the lead role and overseeing the team whenever required. Create a friendly, engaging, and customer-focused environment by demonstrating excellent standards of service and professionalism throughout the day. Lead, encourage, and develop team members through ongoing feedback, coaching, and support to help them perform at their best. Play an active role in building the team, including supporting interviews, new starter training, induction, and ongoing development. Monitor inventory requirements and coordinate regular and seasonal purchasing to ensure the store has the right products available without unnecessary excess stock. Plan and manage team schedules according to expected business levels, maintaining strong service standards while keeping staffing expenditure under control. Keep the stockroom clean, orderly, and efficient, ensuring deliveries are stored appropriately and stock is rotated correctly to minimise waste and maintain product quality. Take responsibility for the appearance and presentation of the store, ensuring the customer-facing environment reflects the company's expected standards and overall brand image.About you: You are an accomplished retail leader, already operating at management level and looking for your next career move.
