Assistant Production Co-Ordinator Location: Capenhurst, Cheshire Salary: Competitive - details on request Hours: Days Our client is looking for an Assistant Production Co-Ordinator to support the day-to-day running of their manufacturing operation. Working closely with the Production Co-Ordinator, you will help ensure production targets, quality standards, safety requirements and efficiency targets are consistently achieved. The Role • Support the coordination of daily production activities and manufacturing schedules. • Supervise and support Production Team Leaders and Operators. • Monitor production output, efficiency, quality, OEE and downtime. • Complete production data input and maintain accurate reports and KPIs. • Coordinate manpower, materials and equipment to maximise productivity. • Investigate production issues and support root cause analysis and corrective actions. • Work closely with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Laboratory and Warehouse teams. • Support continuous improvement, waste reduction and efficiency initiatives. • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, quality and company procedures. • Act as Production Co-Ordinator during periods of absence. About You We are looking for someone with previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, ideally with supervisory or team leadership experience. You will need strong organisational and problem-solving skills, good communication abilities and confidence working with production data and Microsoft Office, including Access databases. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement and quality management systems would be advantageous.
