- £35,000 per annum.Time Off: 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays).Work-Life & Culture: Monday to Friday hours, free parking, and regular company events.Future Security: Enrollment in the company pension scheme within a highly supportive working environment.Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Quantity Surveyor Package Procurement: Collaborate directly with site teams to procure subcontract packages and pull together comprehensive tender documents.Commercial Analysis: Reconcile and analyse incoming subcontractor quotations to ensure accurate financial and commercial comparisons.Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and commercial opportunities during the crucial tender analysis stage.Contract Administration: Prepare final subcontract documents, commercial agreements, and handle the remeasurement of subcontractor accounts.Financial Reporting: Draft accurate, timely payment notices and gain valuable client-facing exposure by assisting with monthly external valuations.What You Need to Succeed Industry Foundations: Prior hands-on experience in a junior, trainee, or Assistant Quantity Surveyor role within the construction sector.Core Knowledge: A basic understanding of procuring subcontract packages and measuring drawings or works on-site.Tech & Numbers: Strong numerical skills (especially in Microsoft Excel) to accurately analyse financial data, quotes, and spreadsheets.Communication: Confident communication skills to liaise effectively with site managers, subcontractors, and clients.Apply Today: Our client is looking for a driven, commercially minded Assistant Quantity Surveyor to elevate their team.
