Job Overview

Infosys is seeking a senior AVP Enterprise Consulting Architect (AI) to join our Strategic Technology Group (STG). This is not a traditional Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect role.

We are looking for a consulting-led architecture leader who can engage with CIOs, CTOs, Chief Digital Officers, and Board-level stakeholders to shape enterprise-wide transformation strategies across Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI).

The successful candidate will operate as a trusted advisor, driving enterprise architecture strategy, AI-enabled transformation, operating model modernization, technology roadmaps, governance frameworks, and large-scale business transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Architecture Leadership

• Lead enterprise-wide architecture strategy and transformation programs
• Define target operating models and enterprise capability maps
• Establish architecture governance and review boards
• Develop multi-year technology roadmaps
• Drive modernization and business transformation initiatives

Executive Consulting & Advisory

• Act as trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs and business executives
• Support investment prioritization and business case development
• Influence enterprise technology decisions and transformation strategy
• Facilitate executive workshops and architecture assessments

BFSI Transformation - Lead transformation initiatives across:

• Retail Banking
• Commercial Banking
• Payments
• Cards
• Open Banking
• Insurance
• Wealth Management
• Regulatory transformation

AI & Modernization

• Define AI and GenAI transformation strategies
• Develop AI governance and responsible AI frameworks
• Shape AI operating models and adoption strategies
• Drive enterprise-wide modernization initiatives
• Advise clients on Agentic AI opportunities and enterprise adoption

Required Experience

• 18+ years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise architecture, or transformation leadership
• Experience operating as:
• Head of Architecture
• Chief Architect
• VP Architecture
• Enterprise Architecture Director
• Principal Architect
• Enterprise Architecture Lead
• Experience owning enterprise architecture across multiple business units
• Executive stakeholder management up to CIO/CTO level
• Strong architecture governance experience
• Experience managing large transformation portfolios
• Preferred BFSI Experience

Strong experience in one or more of:

• Banking
• Payments
• Open Banking
• Financial Crime
• Insurance
• Wealth Management
• Regulatory Change

Including exposure to:

• AML
• KYC
• PCI DSS
• FCA
• BCBS239
• DORA
• GDPR

AI & Emerging Technology Preferred experience in:

• GenAI Strategy
• Agentic AI
• AI Governance
• AI Operating Models
• AI Transformation Programs
• Responsible AI

Knowledge of:

• RAG
• LLM Frameworks
• Enterprise AI Adoption
