Associate Dentist Crossford We are looking for an experienced Associate Dentist to join an established dental practice based in Crossford .
This is an excellent opportunity for a dentist looking to join a supportive and professional clinical environment, with the opportunity to provide high-quality care to an established patient base.
The role would suit a clinician who enjoys general dentistry, takes pride in patient care and wants to develop their skills within a collaborative practice.
The Role As an Associate Dentist, you will provide a broad range of general dental treatments while working closely with the wider clinical and support team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out comprehensive dental examinations and assessments
Diagnosing oral health conditions and developing appropriate treatment plans
Providing general, preventative and restorative dental treatment
Discussing treatment options and costs clearly with patients
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical records
Monitoring patients' ongoing oral health and providing preventative advice
Referring patients to appropriate specialists where necessary
Working collaboratively with dental nurses, hygienists, therapists and other clinicians
Maintaining high standards of clinical governance and infection control
Ensuring treatment is delivered in line with current professional standards
Managing appointments and clinical workload effectively
Supporting patient retention and building long-term patient relationships
Participating in relevant training and continuing professional development
Providing a consistently high standard of patient care and service
About You We're looking for a confident and patient-focused Associate Dentist who is committed to delivering high-quality clinical care.
You should have:
Current GDC registration and the appropriate UK right to practise
Previous experience working as a dentist in the UK
Strong general dentistry experience
Good clinical and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
A professional, approachable and compassionate manner
Strong understanding of clinical governance and regulatory requirements
Excellent record-keeping and attention to detail
Commitment to continuing professional development
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team
