Job Title: Associate Director of Planning Location: Lewes or Guildford Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading property and planning consultancy in the appointment of an experienced planning professional at Senior Planner, Associate or Associate Director level to join their team in either Lewes or Guildford. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious planning professional to work on a diverse portfolio of projects for landowners, developers and land promoters, while taking responsibility for their own projects and contributing to the continued growth of the business. The Role As part of the planning team, you will: Lead your own planning projects from inception through to delivery. Work across a varied portfolio of planning applications, appeals and Local Plan representations. Provide commercially focused planning advice to landowners, developers and promoters. Support senior colleagues on more complex planning matters. Manage client relationships and develop long-term connections. Identify new business opportunities and contribute towards growing your own client base. Coordinate external consultants and project inputs to ensure successful outcomes. Manage project budgets, deadlines and competing priorities.
