Audit & Accounts Senior

Your new company A well-established and growing accountancy practice is looking to appoint an Audit Senior to join its expanding audit team. Your new role As Audit Senior, you will manage audit assignments from planning through to completion, working closely with managers and partners.Your responsibilities will include: Planning and leading audit assignments Supervising, supporting and reviewing the work of junior team members Managing workloads, budgets and assignment deadlines Reviewing financial statements and assessing internal controls Identifying audit risks and developing an appropriate testing approach Liaising directly with clients throughout the audit process Highlighting issues and recommendations to the wider management team Ensuring work is completed accurately and in line with relevant auditing and accounting standards Supporting the ongoing development of trainees and junior auditors Identifying opportunities to provide further support to clientsDepending on your experience, you may also be involved in group audits, first-year audits and assignments covering areas such as acquisitions, disposals, restructures, overseas subsidiaries and IFRS reporting.
