My client is one of the leading firms oaccountants within the region, with specialist teams covering the needs of particular professions and business sectors. Its dynamic and progressive accounts team is seeking an Audit Senior to join the firm.
Main Duties will include:
Leading audit assignments
Accounts preparation for corporate clients
Preparation of corporation tax returns and computations
Supervision of junior staff
Reporting to manager/partner
Dealing with correspondence The Ideal candidate will be:
Be ACA/ACCA qualified, or equivalent, or close to completing either qualification.
Have previous audit experience in a practice environment as well as more general accounting experience such as accounts preparation.
Have experience using SAGE software and Microsoft Excel as well as being fully computer literate with other Microsoft packages.
Have a good working knowledge of corporation tax.
Use their technical knowledge to support and supervise junior staff.
Have an awareness of project management and the ability to think about the impact of projects on the team.
