A supportive and inclusive Specialist School in Thatcham is seeking a dedicated Autism Support professional to join their team as soon as possible. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils with autism, helping them access learning, develop communication skills and build confidence.

As part of the Autism Support team, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing dedicated 1:1 and small group support to pupils with ASD.
• Supporting communication, interaction and social development.
• Helping pupils manage sensory needs and emotional regulation.
• Implementing structured routines and individualised strategies.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement.
• Supporting pupils to access lessons and wider school activities.
• Building trusting and positive relationships with pupils.
• Working closely with teachers and other support professionals.
