Automatic Machine Operative

We are looking for Automatic Machine Operators to efficiently and effectively run the auto operator machines and the ultrasonic welding machines for inline packing. Main duties and responsibilities Efficiently and safely run and manage the inline packing machines Maintain the machinery to minimise breakdowns and potential downtime Raise mechanical issues in a timely manner with the line leader or engineering department to minimise downtime Keep the work area tidy and hazard free while actively promoting the clean as you go policy Report any downtime which will have an adverse effect on meeting your production targets Leave the machines in good working order and clean for the next shift to start Person Specification Previous experience of operating packaging machinery Ability to work well in a team Excellent communication skills Capacity to safely undertake the manual handling and physical activities required for the role, in accordance with health and safety procedures Why Join Moulton Bulb Company In addition to a competitive salary, we offer: Competitive company pension scheme.
