Analysis of the stresses and strains the one-way effector airframe will be subject to, alongside the structural performance of the airframe design and materials
Assessment of GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System / GNSS is an aircraft satellite navigation system that provides precise position, velocity, and time data using global constellations like GPS and Galileo) signal re-acquisition time at various points in boost phase, based on previously provided ephemeris, time and position data
Monte Carlo simulations of INS (Inertial Navigation System) only and GNSS only performance across various conditions to assess impact of GNSS signal loss or INS saturation. Variables include:
Duration of INS only / GNSS only
Positions on the flight path at GNSS loss / INS saturation
INS / GNSS performance characteristics
Investigation to understand the process for how GNSS data is provided to the effector whilst at the launch location, and the intended mechanism for how effector maintains or re-acquires GNSS during the boost phase.
Investigation into the expected RF noise profile across the flightpath, accounting for:
Adversary Jamming
Self generated noise (electronic components)
Thermal (Johnson–Nyquist) noise
Comparison of various GNSS Receivers to identify most suitable candidate, accou...
