The Role

As a Baler Operative, you will be responsible for supporting the recycling process by operating machinery and ensuring materials are processed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating the baling machine in a safe and efficient manner.

• Loading and processing recyclable materials such as cardboard and plastic.

• Monitoring machinery performance and reporting faults or maintenance issues.

• Securing, labelling, and preparing bales for storage or dispatch.

• Carrying out manual handling tasks in line with safe working practices.

• Keeping the work area clean, organised, and hazard-free.
