UCLH take pride in their highly skilled team of midwives and obstetricians, who offer a full range of care options in different settings, including home birth, community care, a co-located birth centre, their labour ward and their two dedicated theatres.

Job responsibilities

This is a superb opportunity for a qualified midwife to work alongside an expert maternity team committed to providing the safest and highest quality care for babies born within the hospital and from across London. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across the departments specialist services, such as their Foetal Medicine Unit, Preterm Birth Clinics, and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), meaning the chance to optimise ones skills and experience are endless.

Qualifications

Essential

  • RMN Registered
  • Specialised midwife, CTG & NLA qualified

Experience

Essential

  • At least 6 months NHS experience in that last 3 years
  • Robust clinical knowledge, strong initiative, and a proactive approach to work
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Honesty and integrity, and a caring patient-centred approach
