You will need to have excellent people skills, a positive and proactive approach, and a genuine passion for supporting individuals with mental health needs, alongside other complex needs which may include learning disabilities or autism. Where youll be working: Bromley You will provide outreach support to individuals within their own homes and local community. This includes working with people at different stages of their mental health journey, promoting recovery, independence, and wellbeing. We are looking for support workers to join our amazing team, and to continue delivering outstanding outcomes.

Main duties of the job

The job involves providing outreach support to individuals within their own homes and local community, promoting recovery, independence, and wellbeing. Responsibilities include encouraging individuals to participate in community activities, supporting daily living activities, effective communication, and promoting quality of life. Accurate record-keeping and reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management are also key aspects.

Encouraging people to play active roles in the communities in which they live, to encourage independence.

Supporting Activities of daily Living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting.

Communicating- effectively communicate using peoples chosen methods

Engaging- promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life

Specialising - supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches

Recording- keeping accurate records &reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management

Team player Working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using your own initiative.
