Behaviour Mentor Location: Hillingdon Contract Type: Full-Time (Term-time only) Salary: £120 - £140 per day Behaviour Mentor - Hillingdon An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Behaviour Mentor to join a specialist SEN/SEMH setting in Hillingdon, supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, behavioural challenges and additional learning needs. The successful candidate will build positive relationships with pupils, provide consistent behavioural and pastoral support, and help learners develop the confidence, resilience and strategies they need to engage successfully with education. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and small-group behaviour and pastoral support, helping pupils manage emotions and develop positive behavioural strategies. Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils experiencing SEN, SEMH and challenging behaviour. Implement behaviour support plans and use effective de-escalation and positive behaviour management strategies. Work closely with teachers, SEN staff and pastoral teams to monitor behaviour, engagement and pupil progress. Promote a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment while encouraging attendance, engagement, confidence and resilience.
