We are looking for an experienced bench joiner to join our friendly yet driven workshop team. You must have at least 5 years experience in a workshop joinery environment and a strong understanding of all aspects of bench joinery. This role involves working across a wide range of bespoke joinery projects, requiring proven capability in producing high-quality work with consistency and attention to detail. Our workshop manufactures bespoke furniture, counters and custom joinery items, so adaptability is essential.
About this Job:
Monday - Friday
08:00 - 16:30 (08:00 - 15:30 on Fridays)
£15 - £18 Per hour
Temp to Perm opportunity
30 Minute break (unpaid)
Key Responsibilities:
Manufacture bespoke items Produce furniture, counters and fittings from technical drawings.
Operate machinery Safely and efficiently use woodworking machinery and hand tools.
Maintain workspace Keep a clean, organised and efficient working area.
Work independently Manage tasks confidently while contributing positively to a collaborative team.
Deliver quality Consistently achieve high standards of finish and craftsmanship.
About You:
Workshop experience Proven background in a workshop joinery environment.
Bench joinery knowledge Strong understanding of bench joinery techniques and processes.
Technical drawing skills Confident working from detailed technical drawings.
