Role Title: Bid Writer Business Unit: Oak Facades Location: Uxbridge or LeicesterRole Overview The Façade Bid Writer is responsible for producing high-quality, persuasive, and compliant tender submissions for façade, cladding, and building envelope projects across both new build and remediation/recladding sectors. Working closely with the Pre-Construction, Technical, Design, Commercial, and Operations teams, the role involves developing compelling bid responses that clearly communicate the company's expertise, delivery capability, quality standards, and value proposition to clients.What You Will Be Doing: Lead the preparation and submission of PQQs, SQs, RFIs, ITTs, and tender proposals for façade and remediation projects.Review and analyse tender documentation to identify key requirements, risks, opportunities, and win themes.Coordinate information from estimating, design, commercial, HSEQ, project delivery, and supply chain teams to create comprehensive submissions.Develop and maintain a library of bid content, case studies, CVs, project profiles, and supporting evidence.Ensure all submissions are compliant with client specifications, quality standards, and submission requirements.Highlight the company's expertise in façade systems, remediation works, recladding solutions, fire safety improvements, and building envelope performance.Collaborate with technical and operational teams to articulate construction methodology, project phasing, resident liaison strategies, and risk mitigation measures.Maintain consistency in branding, presentation, and quality across all tender documents.Coordinate responses relating to sustainability, social value, health and safety, quality assurance, and environmental management.Support the successful conversion of tender opportunities into secured projects.Enhance the company's reputation as a leading specialist contractor in façade new build, remediation, and recladding works.Continuously improve bid content, processes, and submission quality to maximise win ratesAbout You: Previous experience as a Bid Writer within the construction, façade, cladding, or building envelope sector.Strong understanding of façade systems, remediation programmes, recladding projects, and fire compliance requirements.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and common bid management software.What We Can Offer in Return:With an impressive order book of over 4.1 billion we are one of the industry’s leading principal contractors, affording you the opportunity to work on some of the UK’s most exciting projects offering you stability as well as the chance to stretch your capabilities and realise long held career goals.
